Even know it takes a lot of work to keep the Instagram account and now a podcast going. I really love the fact that I can be creative and I can just think of ideas and put them out there for all of you guys to come soon. But I get the very best reward or do escape would’ve answered for one of two reasons. And here they are:
1) Connecting to Skateboarders Worldwide
When I was growing up it was a period of time where me and my friends are truly into skateboarding and we lived breathed it every day. Then over time, my friends stopped, between school, girls, drugs, and drinking, they just weren’t into it. I didn’t have a crew or squad to motivate me to skate. But what’s awesome about online, is the fact that you could follow really awesome skaters in your city, country, or other country. It’s so dope to see kids that rip online. So I constantly give them high fives, comments, likes through their accounts. You can do that too. You can follow skaters that use various hashtags, like #skatelife, #skateboarding, and #skateeverydamnday and ask for a follow back. Like their photos and videos and build your own little online community.
2) Get Inspired by Skate Instagram Accounts:
Some of my favorite accounts online are the skate Instagram only accounts. Man, these guys put out SO much good stuff every day. Like 4-5 times a day. They put out more stuff than traditional skate magazines. My homies and my favorites are:
- Skate Fam
- Skate Clips Daily
- SkateLife Supply
- Skate Memes
3) Motivating and helping skaters with problems:
One of the best parts of running Skate Motivation is the fact that people reach out and I get to help them with whatever issues they’re going through. This is one of the best parts of Skate Motivation. Here’s an example of something someone posted. Feel free to DM me if you need advice.
